Watching the Sun # Cultural Week 2013-2014

There were not clouds on the sky, the Sun was shining and it was nice to observe it. We were also able to  appreciate some sunspots.

Then Members of the Astronomy Group of the College " @astronsm " ruled the line of students and the  access to the observation. They  explained to his colleagues what they were going to observe , telling them to try to identify surface details.

The students enjoyed the activity , since for most of them it was the first time they had watch the Sun  that way.


There were also numerous anecdotes : one of the small students said that the Sun seemed plasticine and others thought that the Sun spots that we were able to observe  were due to the telescope lens was dirty.
